The Production Manager is responsible for the entire Production Department of the company, coordinating all activities related to the actual construction and renovation projects sold by the sales department, taking a job from inception to completion. The Production Department coordinates all the labor, materials, and subcontractors for each project. The responsibility includes maintaining customer satisfaction throughout the project while maintaining the company’s gross profit goals. The Production Manager’s goal should be to manage through systems and procedures.

Responsibilities:
1. Keep management and company team abreast of project changes, delays, etc.
2. Timely coordination and completion of the steps necessary to prepare for a smooth construction process.
3. Review preconstruction design including plans and trusses.
4. Maintain an adequate work force of Project Superintendent(s), subcontractors, and laborers to meet the needs of the company. This responsibility includes recruiting and hiring the subcontractors and labor force with the assistance of the Human Resources Coordinator. Authority to fire will require pre-approval through management.
5. The Production Manager is responsible for checking on whether actual costs are exceeding the Sales Estimate in any area as well as notifying the Sales Department if costs are in excess of the estimate.
6. Coordinate the maintenance of all company vehicles, tools, and equipment. This includes prompting employees for routine maintenance and general vehicle cleanliness.
7. Maintain tool and equipment inventory.
8. Assure job safety.
9. Time management of Project Superintendent(s), field labor, and subcontractors.
10. Onsite liaison between RRCH and subcontractors.
11. Ensure quality control of contracted work.
12. Quality assurance of:
      • Punch follow-up
      • Warranty work completion and review
      • Delegate/assign personnel to follow-up work
      • Timely completion of paperwork
      • Inspection follow-up
13. Check all material invoices and approve payment after verifying that they are properly allocated to a job, priced accordingly, and that the invoices reflect actual shipments.
14. Review weekly field time cards and mileage logs.
15. Enforce jobsite rules.
16. Technical Advisor for ALL construction questions.
17. Managing or creation of all estimates, material quotes & take-offs to facilitate contract pricing.
18. Participate in ALL 30% & 70% drawing reviews.
19. Creation of ALL initial construction schedules.
20. Responsible for maintaining and updating Outlook calendar for scheduled meetings.

The Production Manager will maintain working hours from 7:30am to 5:00pm.
